Sutcliffe Consulting Engineers are actively recruiting for an Associate Mechanical Engineer.

As a key member of the team you will be representing us in all project stages from feasibility through to completion across a wide variety of sectors, including Healthcare, Modular, Residential, Education, Industrial and Commercial. You will lead the mechanical design on a wide range of projects and provide technical support to other Engineers within the Mechanical Team.

As the successful Associate Mechanical Engineer you will need to be able to effectively liaise with clients and stakeholders to manage expectations whilst maintaining and building new relationships for the company. You will play an active part in the development of the more junior engineers and will manage the engineering output for allocated projects. You will be responsible for managing project fee expenditure and will play a part in the preparation of project bids and fee proposals.

Key requirements:

Excellent technical capability

Ideally a minimum of 10 years’ experience in engineering design and have relevant experience of working within the Building Services Industry

Ideally have be degree qualified in either building services or mechanical engineering

Ideally be a CEng MCIBSE or IEng ACIBSE and working towards Chartership

Candidates should and be proficient in the use of relevant industry design software (i.e. AutoCAD, IES, Revit).

Experience in the Healthcare sector would be beneficial
